Amber Flanders Named Scholar-Athlete Of The Month

Amber Flanders is Valley Bone & Joint Clinic’s Scholar-Athlete of the Month for March 2020.

Over the course of her athletic career, Amber has learned that hard work and dedication can make a great impact. As a result, she has not only become a letter winner for the Spoilers in volleyball, but also earned herself the position of team captain her senior year. Amber’s work ethic and leadership skills extend beyond the volleyball court as well, resulting in an outstanding 4.5 GPA. Amber will receive a scholarship worth $500 from Valley Bone & Joint Clinic.

Ivy Daws Named Scholar-Athlete Of The Month

Ivy Daws is Valley Bone & Joint Clinic’s Scholar-Athlete of the Month for February 2020.

When it comes to achieving her goals, Ivy has never let a little hard work stand in the way. In fact, she’s a four-sport letter winner for the Polar Bears in track and field, basketball, volleyball and trap shooting. Ivy’s dedication has resulted in a successful career as captain of the varsity basketball team, three consecutive years of being honored with the “Hardest Worker Award” from her teammates, and an outstanding 3.9 GPA in the classroom. Ivy will receive a scholarship worth $500 from Valley Bone & Joint Clinic.

Evan Halvorson is Valley Bone & Joint Clinic’s Scholar-Athlete of the Month for January 2020.

Evan never lets anything stand in the way of his goals, even a twenty-five mile drive to practice. In fact, he’s a four-sport letter winner for the Chargers in track and field, cross country, basketball and football. By pushing himself to do his best on and off the field, Evan has proven that it’s possible to qualify for the ND state track and field championships, while simultaneously earning an outstanding 4.0 GPA. Evan will receive a scholarship worth $500 from Valley Bone & Joint Clinic.

Zachary Carolin Named Scholar-Athlete Of The Month

Zachary Carolin is Valley Bone & Joint Clinic’s Scholar-Athlete of the Month for December 2019.

When it comes to giving his all, Zachary brings 100% in both practice and the big game. In fact, he’s a two-sport letter winner for the Roughriders in baseball and basketball. Zachary’s determination resulted in a successful five-year career behind home plate as a catcher, as well as an outstanding 4.0 GPA in the classroom as a student. Zachary will receive a scholarship worth $500 from Valley Bone & Joint Clinic.
